About me

About me

Like many of you there have been times in life I’ve found almost unbearably hard. It’s taken time and a lot of work to get myself feeling as good as I do now. However, through adversity I have become stronger – my experiences have equipped me to help others who have had setbacks in life.

I want those who have suffered knocks, big and small, to be able to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and be ready to overcome any further barriers to enjoying life to the full. I can walk beside you while you find the way, take the first steps, run and leap towards achieving success – with your dreams and ambitions fulfilled.

I am a trained and experienced mentor and befriender as well as a transformational life coach. I also have positive psychology coaching and group coaching qualifications accredited by the ICF. I am a trained executive function coach, which means I’m well equipped to help if you struggle with time management, procrastination, organisation, planning and prioritisation.

I am a mum to three children who have brought me so much happiness. Although of course it hasn’t always been easy. I’ve managed for the most part to keep working, at least part time. I know what it’s like to juggle, not with objects but life itself.

How I help you

As a mum I understand that whilst bringing up our children, we deserve something just for us. For some it’s a fulfilling career or finding ways to manage the same career we had before our children, for others it’s creating new ways to fit work around our kids. It may not be work or career at all but something else… I help you find whatever that is.

I coach you through any challenges that family life presents so you can enjoy your family to the full – at the same time as not losing sight of the person you want to be, where you want to go and what you want to do – to feel fulfilled as a person as well as a parent.

I help you to get the absolute best out of life, and the best out of yourself. Whether you have young children not yet at school, have more time on your hands now they are at school or even feel that, as your children are getting older you have more time to work, play, be – but you’re not quite sure how to use it.

How I work

What is coaching with me like? I tend to adjust my style of coaching to what suits you. If you respond well to challenge, I challenge, if you need more gentle exploration then that’s the way we work. Either way you will gain insights and experience shifts, sometimes immediately obvious, other times changes will occur in between sessions.

After each session with me you will have something to take away. It may be a new realisation, or a solid and realistic action plan.
As you begin to recognise and understand your patterns of behaviour, you create new habits for real and lasting change.
